How to write a data analyst resume
Analytics hiring managers want to see the tools you use and the questions you answered with data. Show both, with real examples.
Skills to show
Common requirements include SQL, Excel (pivot tables, lookups), a visualisation tool such as Power BI or Tableau, Python or R for analysis, and statistics basics. List the ones you use and name the exact tools the job post mentions.

Describe the question, the data, the method and who used the result. Fictional example: “Analysed six months of support tickets in SQL and Power BI to find the top complaint categories; the dashboard is reviewed weekly by the support lead.”
