How to write a resume for an internship
Internship recruiters know you are still studying. They look for evidence that you can learn quickly and have already started working with the tools of the field.
What to include
Contact details, a one-line objective naming the internship, education (degree, college, expected graduation, CGPA if strong), projects, skills, and activities such as clubs, hackathons, volunteering or competitions. Add previous internships or part-time work if you have them.
Describe coursework and projects like work
Treat a strong college project as experience: name it, say what you built or analysed, the tools, and the outcome. Fictional example: “Analysed two years of canteen sales data in Python and pandas to find peak hours; presented a staffing suggestion to the college committee.”
Positions of responsibility count too. Organising a fest with a budget, a team and deadlines shows skills employers want.
